As others have noted, this place is a gem! Douglas is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell he's in it for his passion for the craft. I took his course on how to assemble my own Unspokin Frigate, and Douglas walked me through the logic of how to put it together, and why. I'm grateful to have learned the ins and outs so I can fix my own bike. I just got my Frigate today, and can't wait to ride it on my commutes! Thanks Douglas!
Found Unspokin while looking for a bike shop to change my drop bar to straight bar. Their location at Macpherson Road is great for me since its less than 20mins walk from my house at Alkaff Lakeview (did that when collecting my bike). Douglas was very friendly and helpful to gave me advices when I first visited his shop. I decided to bring my bike to him the next day after checking out another shop in Tampines which quoted me higher price offhand with unnecessary changes. I am also grateful that Douglas is able to accommodate my request to use some parts I ordered through online. Another great service is Douglas kept me posted of the progress over the 2 weeks before I collect my bike. I highly recommend you to visit Unspokin for bike servicing or if you are interested to fix up a new bike. They are also selling their own Unspokin series of bicycle which I find very nice if you are looking for some daily commute with a retro touch. Thanks to Douglas and Unspokin.
