Trek Mountain Track 800 [Upcycled]
A cult classic at this point, the Trek Mountain Track 800 serves as a reliable commuter hybrid today. Its mountain bike geometry gives a more relaxed posture to the rider, and even with vintage parts, its drivetrain is still as smooth and responsive as ever. Steel tubing makes up the frameset, ensuring a compliant ride that absorbs the vibrations of rough tarmac.
This bike has been torn down and restored to be given a new lease of life. A new chain and a new bottom bracket has been installed for efficient power transfer. The bike was also converted to a 1x drivetrain for simplicity and a threadless adapter to allow for various handlebar configurations. New tyres have been installed as well.
